This sculpture was created at the end of a workshop on painting frescos in 2012 at Sturt Winter School, Mittagong NSW. I did make some traditional frescos but this one came out of left field. Perhaps a result of being in the bush environment at Sturt. A fun piece.

Moonscape Painting

>This painting was inspired by the moon and the stars at Fowlers Gap, Broken Hill NSW. The light from the moon and stars is overwhelmingly brilliant. I have worked on this painting for a number of years trying to capture the night light. I am please with the result the photograph just doesnt do it justice.

I will be at the Sydney Royal Easter Show tomorrow Easter Monday 1st April. I will be manning the Ceramic 'Clay on Display', Feature Display in the Arts and Craft Pavillion. There will be a number of ceramists giving demonstrations on hand building and throwing. People to talk to about clay glazing, where to go to learn - plus there will be a display of their works plus the exhibition of works as part of the Easter Show. This is myfirst trip to the Easter show since it located to Homebush! Ill be there all day so come and visit if you are planning to visit the show - even if you haven't decided - this is a good reason to come. Here are some of the works I will take out. We cant do direct sales but you can certainly arrange to buy at a later day.
