This sculpture was created at the end of a workshop on painting frescos in 2012 at Sturt Winter School, Mittagong NSW. I did make some traditional frescos but this one came out of left field. Perhaps a result of being in the bush environment at Sturt. A fun piece.

Sculptures created after a field trip to Fowlers Gap, Broken Hill, NSW in 2011. During the trip we looked at the land and one day we had a talk with an expert on native plants and there medicinal qualities.

Moonscape Painting

>This painting was inspired by the moon and the stars at Fowlers Gap, Broken Hill NSW. The light from the moon and stars is overwhelmingly brilliant. I have worked on this painting for a number of years trying to capture the night light. I am please with the result the photograph just doesnt do it justice.
